Information: Mrs. C. Otis Casto of Ripley, received word Saturday that her brother, S/Sgt. Bernard Miller, 41, had died of a cerebral hemorrhage at Pirmasm, Germany.  The body is being returned for funeral and burial services, but will not arrive until the coming week-end and funeral arrangements will be made after the arrival.  His widow will arrive from Germany today (Wednesday).  He was a son of Mrs. Cora Miller and the late Rome Miller and graduated from Ripley high school in 1942.  He had 18 years of military service.   He served in both World War II and the Korean War and was severely wounded in the latter war.  Survivors in addition to his sister, Mrs. Casto, and his mother, are his wife, Elsie Theil Miller whom he married in Germany in 1957; a step-daughter, Mrs. John Madden of Ft. Knox, Ky, and a brother, Shirley Miller of Charleston.
