Information: Edward S. Milhoan, 63, of Ravenswood, died Tuesday at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. He was born at Liverpool, a son of the late James Emmett and Delia Milhoan. He was a World War II veteran of the Navy and served on the first S. S. Helena, the U.S.S. Newport News and the Sproston, and retired as a master chief petty officer. He received the Good Conduct medal, the World War II Victory medal, the National Defense Srevice medal and the Naval Occupational Service medal (European). He is survived by his wife, Alice Milhoan, of Ravenswood; two brothers, Clarence B. Mitchell and Harry L. Milhoan, both of Liverpool; three sisters, Virginia Ellis of Liverpool, Hazel Pumphrey of Akron, Ohio, and Frances Rhodes of Washington. Services were Friday at the Parsons Funeral Home, Ripley, with the Rev. Herman Robinson officiating. Burial was in the Baptist Grove Cemetery, Frozen Camp.
