  <p>Information: Eric James Miles passed to eternal life on March 7th, 2015.  Eric was born July 29, 1947 in Buckhannon WV to Edgar Quentin and Marjorie Lee Miles.  Married to Barbara E. Miles in 1971.  Sons, Jonathan and Philip Miles, daughter-in-law, Nikki Miles.  He is survived by his mother, sisters/brother-in-law, Sherry and Wayne de Rosset of Glenville WV, Crystal and Mark Goodwin of Clarksburg WV; aunt, Patty Craven; cousins, and by many nieces and nephews.  Eric worked 38 years for the WV National Guard troop command attaining Master Sergeant.  In his retirement years he enjoyed raising Japanese koi fish, beekeeping, fishing, hunting, WVU sports, and family geneology.  Organizations include the Masons, American Legion, Shriners (oriental band).  He especially enjoyed keeping physically fit by spending many hours attending daily exercise classes at the Ripley fitness center.  Arrangements have be made at Waybright Funeral Home in Ripley WV (www.waybrightfuneralhome.com).  The viewing is set for Wednesday, the 11th, from 6-9 pm and funeral service is being held on Thursday, the 12th, at 1 pm proceeded by a military burial ceremony at Independence Cemetery in Sandyville WV.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Shriners Children&#39;s Hospital.</p>
