Information: Rebecca J. Milam was born May 2, 1869, departed this life September 19, 1923.  Was united in marriage to W. H. Milam December 13, 1892.  To this union were born five children, two having preceded her to the great beyond, leaving to mourn their loss, husband and three children, Goldie Hinzman and Macel Randolph, both of Sandyville and Sylvia Hinzman of Freedom, Pa., one brother, C. C. States, and one sister, Emma Higginbotham, both of Poca, and a host of friends.  Sister Milam was converted in childhood and was a devoted christian, mother, companion and a good neighbor.  Funeral services were conducted at the home by Rev. Isaac Hinzman, assisted by Rev. Joseph  Murray.  Interment in the Mt. Hope cemetery.   (From the Betty Kessel McIntyre collection)
