  <p>Information: Mrs. J. Robert Merrifield (Juanita), 69, of Smithfield, West Virginia, died Sunday, Nov. 12, at University Hospital in Morgantown, after an extended illness.  She was born June 29, 1909, at Mobley, West Virginia, daughter of Earl and Cartha Smith.  She married J. Robert Merrifield on June 28, 1930.  He survives and resides at Smithfield.  They are former residents of Rio Grande and Northup, Ohio, and Kenna.  One daughter Mrs. Earle Crum (Peggy), a Holzer Hospital School of Nursing graduate, survives and lives in Houston, Texas.  She was helping care for her mother preceding and at the time of her death.  One son, J. Robert Merrifield, Jr., preceded her in death in 1959.  One grand-daughter, Cynthia Merrifield, of Versailles, Ohio, survives.  Two sisters and two brothers survive.  Funeral services were held at the Pricetown Methodist Church, Nov. 15.</p>
