  <p>Information:               Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon from the Methodist Church in Cottageville for William Osborne MEREDITH, 88, retired Tyler County farmer who died Saturday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. H. H. (Blanche) MCINTYRE of Cottageville.  The Rev. I. J. MCCOLLUM had charge of the service and burial was in the Blaine Memorial Cemetery.  Born in Tyler County, May 18, 1859, he was the son of the late John Wesley and Elizabeth (GLENN) MEREDITH, and married Rebecca M. TUTTLE on Sept. 13, 1887.  She preceded him in death in July 1921.                  He is survived by three children, Mrs. Henry Henderson ""Heck"" MCINTYRE and Mrs. Iva MILLER of Cottageville, and Charles P. MEREDITH of Parkersburg; two brothers, J. H. MEREDITH of Sistersville, and Dr. A. A. MEREDITH of Middlebourne; four sisters, Mrs. Naomi HEINTZMAN of Sistersville, Mrs. Melvira FOX of New Martinsville, Mrs. Julia EVANS of Norwich, Ohio and Mrs. Nettie BUCK of Paden City, WV.; 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.  (from the Betty McIntyre obit collection)   </p>
