  <p>Information:                 Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon at the Fairview church near Leroy for Mrs. America B. McVey, 74, a life long resident of Jackson County, who died at a Parkersburg hospital on Saturday.  The Rev. Esker Groves officiated at the service and burial was in the church cemetery.  She was born in Ohio, the daughter of Elwood Crew and Lydia Myers Crew.  Surviving are her husband, H. McVey; ten children, Mrs. Ruby Full of Terre Haute, Indiana, Mrs. Pearl Murphy and Maude Giles, both of Akron, Ohio, Mrs. Dana Persley of Leroy, Virginia McVey, Edwin McVey of Terre Haute, Indiana, C. C. McVey of Akron, Ohio, Ollie McVey of Leroy and Mrs. Lucy Thorn and Earl McVey, both of Akron Ohio.  Also surviving is one brother, Ed Crew of Illinois.  (Betty Kessel McIntyre obit collection)</p>
