Information: John McPherson, son of Jesse and Isabelle McPherson, was born May 23, 1970, departed this life July 22, 1941, age 71 years, 2 months and 29 days.  He was united in marriage to Miss Minnie Myer Dec. 12, 1889 and to this union were born three children, one dying in infancy, and Mrs. Edna Thomas of Windy and Holly McPherson of Ravenswood.  He leaves his beloved wife, two children and two grandchildren, one brother, one sister, and a host of friends and neighbors to mourn his death.  [Betty Kessel McIntyre obit collection]
