  <p>Information: Jesse D. McPherson was born in Harrison County, July 21, 1845 and died October 1, 1917, aged 72 years 2 months and 10 days.  He, together with his parents, (Editor&#39;s note: Stephen and Jane Moore McPherson) moved to Jackson County in 1854.  He was a member of the G.A.R. having spent eight months in the service.  He was married to Isabella Stephens, March 5, 1867.  To this union four children were born, all of whom are living.  Charles A., John O., and William T. McPherson of Jackson County, and Mrs. J. W. Whitlatch of Wood County.  He was converted about 48 years ago and joined the Methodist Episcopal church and has lived an active christian life ever since.  He is survived by a wife, four children, one brother J. W. McPherson of Arkansas; three sisters, Mrs. Amanda Hyatt of Doddridge County; Mrs. Sarah Ball of Jackson County, and Mrs. Mary Province of Wood County and a host of friends to mourn his loss.  His brother Thomas was killed during the Civil War.............The remains were laid to rest in the Limestone Hill cemetery.  Rev.
