Information: Raymond McMurray, 70, Washington Rd., Parkersburg, died very suddenly at his farm Saturday.  He was born March 16, 1895, at Ravenswood, a son of the late John L. and Ida Watkins McMurray, and was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church.  He belonged to the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen, having been employed by the B & O Railway.  He retired in 1960 with 50 years of service.  Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Velva Sayre McMurray; three sons, Chalres F., Kenneth R., both of Parkersburg, and William E. of Cleveland, Ohio; five brothers, Sam A., Elmer E., and Hubert McMurray, all of Ravenswood, Chester McMurray of Charleston, and Virgil McMurray of Wellsville, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Nellie Nicholson and Mrs. Josie VanKirk, both of Ravenswood; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.  Funeral services were held on Tuesday at the Leavitt funeral home. Interment was in the Ravenswood cemetery.
