  <p>Information: Michael Lee McKown, son of George and Elizabeth Collins McKown, was born in Harrison county, Feb. 9, 1883, departed this life March 22, 1941, age 58 years, 1 month and 13 days.  He is survived by seven brothers and two sisters.  Five preceded him in death.  Seven brothers surviving are, John of Shirley, W. Va., Patrick of Ovpa, W. Va., Wiett of Willsummitt, W. Va., Robert of Ravenswood, Frank of Charleston, Wilobe of Spokane, Washington, and Sherman of Panhandle, Texas. Two sisters, Mrs. Anna Williams of Oklahoma City and Mrs. Mary Black of Pompa, Texas.  He came to this county 28 years ago and during that time he was affiliated with Methodist and United Brethren churches here.  At the time of his death he was a member of the Hemlock United Brethren church.  He made his home, all his life, with his brother, Robert McKown, who for a number of years had lived here at Ravenswood.  Funeral services were held Monday, March 24, at 1 p.m. from the North Ravenswood United Brethren church with C. E. Ruble officiating.  Burial was made in the Ravenswood cemetery. [Betty Kessel McIntyre obit collection]</p>
