Information: M'KOWN RITES HELD TUESDAY- Funeral services for Emma McKown, 83 year old widow of the late Perry E. McKown, were held from the Epworth Methodist church here Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock with the Rev. Garrett Evans in charge and burial was in the family cemetery.  The Vail undertaking establishment had charge of the funeral arrangements.      Mrs. McKown died suddenly about nine o'clock Saturday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. B. F. King at Ripley.  She had been enjoying her usual health and at dinner Saturday evening did not complain of felling ill and after the dinner had been served she talked with members of the family for some time and shortly after eight complained of feeling dizzy.  Members of the family soon realized that her illness was serious and a physician was called.  She was dead in less than forty-five minutes.      She was a native of the community and spent her entire life here.  Her husband died eleven years ago and since that time she had made her home with the daughter.  Relatives who live some distance from Ripley were notified of the death and began arriving here Sunday.  With the arrival of a daughter from Louisiana on Tuesday morning all surviving members of the family were present for the funeral.      She is survived by the following children, Mrs. B. F. King of Ripley, Mrs. Nellie Campbell of Longacre, Mrs. Mary Engstrom of Monroe, Louisiana, Mrs. Carl Huggins of Parkersburg, Edwin McKown of Ripley, Bryan McKown of Detroit and Smith McKown of Charleston.  Three children preceded her in death, Frances McKown, who died at an early age; Ralph McKown, who was killed in action in France during the first World War; and Mrs. Helen ...........
