  <p>Information:                 Funeral services for Charles McKay, 82 year old resident of Cottageville, were held from the EUB church there Saturday afternoon with the Rev. Howard Stewart officiating and the burial was in the Dye Cemetery.  Mr. McKay died at his home on Thursday after being in failing health for some time.  He was born at Willow Grace on Octoberc20, 1867, a son of William and Catherine Moffat McKay.  On January 12, 1927 he married Flora Slaughter.  He had lived at Cottageville for many years and was well known throughout the county.  Survivors include one son, Charles W. McKay of Cottageville, and two daughters, Virginia Lee McKay of Charleston and Regina Mae McKay of Cottageville.  (Betty Kessel McIntyre obit collection)</p>
