  <p>Information: Charles William McKay, 80, of Ravenswood, departed this life June 4, 2008, at Jackson General Hospital.  He was born May 11, 1928, in Cottageville, a son of the late Charles and Flora (Slaughter) McKay.  He was a retired heavy equipment operator with 60 years service and a member of International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 132, Charleston.  He was a member of Silverton United Methodist Church.  Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Eleanor Jean (Hamilton) McKay; son and daughter-in-law, William and Joyce McKay of Ripley; daughters, Susan McKay of Sissonville and Karen McKay of Lewisburg; sisters, Regenia Miller of St. Albans and Virginia Martin of Dunbar; two grandchildren, Emory McKay and Jeffrey McKay of Ripley.  Service at Casto Funeral Home and burial at Ravenswood Cemetery.      	 </p>
