Information: James Everett McIntyre, son of Enoch and Sarah McIntyre, born June 22, 1884, departed this life Feb. 12, 1949, age 64 years 8 months and 10 days. He was born in Tyler County, West Virginia and moved to Jackson county in his early youth with his parents, where he met and married Mary Marjorie Sayre on July 8, 1901. Mary was called to her heavenly home Dec. 30, 1940. To this union was born 12 children of which one son and four daughters preceded them in death. Surviving are Mrs. Thelma Temple, Borden, Ind., Mrs. Beulah Henry, Nabb, Ind., Mrs. Geraldine Annis, New Washington, Ind., Mrs. Irene Noe, Ostico, Ind.; and three sons, Herbert of Hazard, Ky., Marion of Hazard, Ky., and Gene of Canton, Ohio; five brothers, Melvin, Evans, W. Va., Henry H., Cottageville, Thomas, New Haven, Clarence, River View, and John of Dupont City W. Va.; two sisters, Mrs. Lily Lemon of Belle and Mrs. Mary Ferrell of Richmond Dale, Ohio; 17 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. Mr. McIntyre united with the Christian Church at Angerona, W. Va. at an early age, and lived a Christian life. He moved with his family to Kentucky in 1920 and remained there until 1938, at which time he moved to New Washington, Ind. In 1942 he married Clara Sayre Fox of Cottageville and they moved to Richmond Dale, Ohio. This was a short union as Clara was deceased in June, 1945. On Oct. 29, 1945, he was married to Stella A. Barnes who was at his side until his death. Mr. McIntyre was a good husband, father, and neighbor. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
