Information: COTTAGEVILLE - Gladys Lucille McIntyre, 81, of Cottageville,departed this life suddenly Nov. 4, 2002, at her home.  She was born May 26, 1921 on Cow Run, a daughter of the late Hosea Jackson and Nancy Catherine Sayre Shinn.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth G. McIntyre; brothers, Roy and Clark Lee; and a sister, Olive.  She was an active fund-raising volunteer for the construction of Jackson General Hospital, a member of the Jackson County Democrats Club and she was a homemaker.  She was an active member of the Ripley Band Boosters for 17 years and was very involved with the music ministry for nursing homes in Ripley and Ravenswood.  She was co-owner and operator of McIntyre Welding, Ripley, for more than 50 years and was a former rivet maker at Martin Aircraft, Baltimore, Md., during World War II.  She was the organizer of the Cow Run Days reunion for 19 years.  She was a Christian and ministered through her music at several local churches.  Surviving are her daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and Skip Hackworth and Dorma and Frank Hughes, all of Cottageville, Marsha and Scott Goodrich of Millwood; brothers, Woodrow Shinn of McCutchenville, Ohio, Daniel Shinn of Nitro, Darrell Shinn of Tiffin, Ohio, Arnold Shinn of Bluffton, Ohio; sisters, Naomi Sayre of Evans, Margaret Hill of Mount Alto, Clara Blanche Yentzer of Melbourne, Fla.; grandchildren, Matt Hackworth, Glen Hughes, Joshua Hughes, Georgia Hughes, Mary Goodrich and Andrew Goodrich; great-granddaughter, Sadie Hackworth.  Service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, with the Rev. Gerald B. Sayre officiating.  Burial will follow in the McIntyre Cemetery, Cottageville.  Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
