Information: Ida Virginia McFarland, daughter of Milton and Rosanna Laughlin, was born in Roane County, West Virginia on April 5, 1871, and departed this life September 7, 1913, aged 42 years, 5 months and 2 days.  Her death was due to an illness of typhoid fever.  She was united in marriage with Mr. David Homer McFarland November 25, 1895, and to them were born eight children, five of whom survive.  She leaves beside the bereaved husband and five loved children, her aged father, three sisters, Miss Ella Laughlin, Miss Edna Laughlin, Mrs. D. D. Latteam, and one brother, D. M. Laughlin. The funeral services were held at 3 o'clock Monday afternoon from the Baptist Church, Rev. O. F. Jackson, the pastor and Rev. Hutchinson, from Ravenswood, officiating.  Interment in the Pine Hill Cemetery. (McIntyre)
