  <p>Information: FORT LAUDERDALE, FLA. - Velva Mae See McDermott, 83, of Fort Lauderdale, died Feb. 19, 2000, in Fort Lauderdale.  She was former owner of Mickey&#39;s Children Shop, South Charleston, W. Va., and was a homemaker.  She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, South Charleston, South Charleston Woman&#39;s Club and Eastern Star.  Surviving:  sons, John Robert McDermott of Coral Springs, Fla., Douglas Scott MeDermott of Tampa, Fla.; sister, Irene Kessell of Coral Springs; four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.  Service was Thursday at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, W. Va. with the Rev. Gerald Sayre officiating.  Burial was in Creston Cemetery, Leon, W. Va.</p>
