Information: FARMER DIES AT MT. ALTO - Park D. McDermott, 58, of Mt. Alto, died Friday at his home after an extended illness.  Born in Mt. Alto, he was a son of the late G. W. and Clora Ann Durst McDermott, and was a lifelong farmer and stockman.  Survivors include his wife, Elva Stephens McDermott; one daughter, Mrs. Doris Durst of Lexington, Ky.; three brothers, Dan, Cottageville, Glen, Parkersburg, and M. J. McDermott, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; and one grandchild. Services were conducted Monday at the Casto Funeral Home, Evans, by the Rev. Kenneth Durst with interment in the Jackson County Memory Gardens.
