  <p>Information:               Funeral services for John Ernest BEVER, 68, and the father of Mrs. H. G. SLAVEN of Ripley, were held from the family home at Medina last Thursday afternoon at 2 o&#39;clock with the Rev. W. S. STATES in charge and the body was taken to the Ravenswood Cemetery for burial.  Mr. BEVER died of a heart attack at his home on Tuesday.  A farmer by occupation and a member of the Methodist Church, news of his death was a shock to his family and friends.                  Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Lona BEVER; six sons, Ray BEVER of Parkersburg, Delbert and Naaman BEVER of Ravenswood, Kenneth BEVER of Weirton, James BEVER at home, and Harlan BEVER of Akron, Ohio; three daughters, Mrs. Bernice SLAVEN of Ripley, Mrs. Iseta KITTLE of Sandyville and Mrs. Mildred STALLINGS of Akron, Ohio.  Also surviving are three brothers, Oliver BEVER of Eugene, Oregon, Melvin BEVER of Akron, Ohio, Charles BEVER of Belleville; one sister, Mrs. Belle MONTGOMERY of Parkersburg.  (from the Betty Kessel McIntyre obit collection)     </p>
