Information: MRS. M'DERMOTT DIED SATURDAY - FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MRS. GEORGE MCDERMOTT HELD AT MT ALTO - Last rites were held Sunday afternoon at the Hopewell church in Mt. Alto for Mrs. Cora McDermott, 56 years old and the wife of George W. McDermott, who died Saturday morning at her home near there as the result of a heart attack.      Rev. S. J. Westfall, pastor of the Cottageville United Brethren circuit, conducted the services and burial was in the Hopewell cemetery.  Mrs. McDermott was a member of the Hopewell Baptist church and was active in all work of the denomination.      She is survived by the husband, George W. McDermott, former member of the West Virginia State Legislature; four sons, Glenn McDermott of Mt. Alto, Daniel McDermott and Park McDermott, at home and Milford McDermott, member of the faculty of the Walton, Roane county, high school. Surviving are also three brothers, Henry Durst of Portsmouth, Ohio, William Durst of Leon, Mason county, and Daniel Durst of Mt. Alto.  Undertaker Bush of Mt. Alto had charge of the general arrangements for the funeral.  Mrs. McDermott was well known in that section and her death was a shock to the members of her family and to her many friends.
