  <p>Information: MT. ALTO NATIVE DIES IN CABELL - Mrs. Clara C. McDermott, 75, of Ona, a former Cabell county school teacher, died unexpectedly at her home Wednesday, Nov. 4.  She was born at Mt. Alto July 4, 1894, a caughter of the late Daniel and Lanora Higgins Thomas.  She was the widow of the late Holley Angus McDermott, who died in 1959.         Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Taylor, Mrs. Grace York and Mrs. Roberta Clark, all of Huntington; three sons, Carl McDermott of Huntington, Robert and Bill McDermott, both of Ona; one sister, Mrs. Anna Thompson of Huntington; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.  Funeral services were held Thursday at 2:30 pm at the Bethesdia United Methodist Church at Ona with the Rev. Gerald Harshbarger and the Rev. Bobby Woods officiating.  Burial was in White Chapel Memorial Gardens at Barboursville.</p>
