  <p>Information: Funeral services for Benjamin Hartman McCune, 44 year old World War veteran who died Thursday at the veterans hospital in Huntington, were held Saturday morning, July 27 at 10:30 o&#39;clock at the Vail Mortuary with Rev. L.R. Mahoney officiating.  Interment was in Pine Hill cemetery.  The deceased was born Jan 17, 1896, in Calhoun county, a son of William and Melva McCune.  Death came July 25, 1940 at the age of 44 years, 6 months and 8 days.  He served in the United States Army from April 2, 1918 to June 9, 1919 in Company F. 305th Ammunition Train.  Besides his wife, Mrs. Zona McCune and one son, he is survived by two brothers, Andrew and Cale McCune.</p>
