  <p>Information: John W. McCoy, 86, of Millwood, died Aug. 1, 1992 at the Eldercare of Ripley, after a long illness. He was born in Jackson County.  He was a member of the Ravenswood Lions Club, was former president of the Senior Citizens, was a retired farmer and businessman, and a retired mail carrier for Kaiser Aluminum with 10 years of service.  He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Ravenswood.  Surviving are one daughter, Joyce Stephens of Cottageville; two sons, Eldon McCoy of Murraysville and Adrian McCoy of Millwood; one sister, Constance King of Lewisburg; one brother, Conrad McCoy of Ravenswood; seven grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Ursie McCoy, in 1981; two brothers and one sister.  Services were Monday, Straight-Tucker Funeral Home, Ravenswood, with the Rev. Gerald Sayre officiating.  Burial was in Jackson County Memorial Park at Cottageville.</p>
