  <p>Information: Homer Asbury McCollum, 70, of Melbourne, Fla., formerly of Jackson County, died Thursday in Bymontt Hospital of Largo, Fla.  He was born in West Virginia, a son of the late Wade and Melissa Barnett McCollum.  He was a retired glass worker and a veteran of World War II.  He is survived by his wife, Eleanor McCollum; one son, Clifton McCollum of Connecticut; three daughters, Florence McCollum and Wanda McCollum, both of Connecticut, and Judity Soucier of Brookville, Fla.; one brother, Bill McCollum of Given; six sisters, Ercy Stewart of Akron, Ohio, Juanita Casto of Melbourne, May Belle Barnett of Robertsburg, W. Va., Phyllis Caldwell of Anson, Maine, Clara Ann White of Ripley, Odell Fay Goodwin of Cottageville.  The body was cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later time.  Parsons Funeral Home, Ripley, handled arrangements.</p>
