Information: McClure,  James Henry                 James Henry McClure, son of the late Adarn and Margaret Wilson McClure, was born at Hartford, West Virginia on Sept. 22, 1867, passed away at his home, Dec. 24, 1948, aged 72 years, 3 months and 2 days.  He was united in marriage to Miss Ollie Stewart.  To this union one daughter was born, Mrs. Lizzie Bently of Columbus, Ohio.  Death claimed his companion.  He was again united in marriage to Miss Addie Cain.  To this union four children were born, Cecil, Raymond, and Mrs. Margaret McCloud, all of Columbus, Ohio.  An infant and his wife preceded him in death.  He was again united in marriage, this time to Miss Mattie Harris.  To this union six children were born, Mrs. Daisy Durst of Leon Rt., Viola, Deloris, Wayne and Vera, at home.  One son, James Thomas McClure, preceded him in death.  He leaves to mourn his departure his wife, the above named children, one step-daughter, Mrs. Audrey McClure of Cottageville, 12 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and one brother, Adam McClure, who is the only survivor of a family of sixteen children.  He was preceded in death by his parents, who were immigrants from Ireland, one brother, Alexander McClure, and Mrs. Lizzie McClure Schwartz, and the following half-brothers and half-sisters:  Robert, Thomas, John, Simpson, and William McClure, John and Andrew Beattie, Mrs. Minerva King, Mrs. Mary Booth, Mrs. Maggie Baker, and Mrs. Mary See.  The funeral services were conducted at the Smith ME Church by the Rev.
