  <p>Information:                 Funeral services for Orville McCloud, 79 year old farmer of Fairplain who died at his home there Monday afternoon, 10 Oct 1949, will be held at the home this (Wednesday) afternoon and the body will be taken to the Creston Cemetery for burial.  Mr. McCloud had been ill for several months and death had been expected.  He was born at Leon on November 22, 1863, a son of Radford and Nancy (Barnett) McCloud.  He was engaged in farming all his life.  On August 26, 1903 he married Addie Belle Dewees.  Survivors include the following children:  Clair McCloud of Boomer, Ina McCloud of Chesapeake, Ray McCloud of Fairplain, Delia McCloud of Fairplain, Elsie M. Woodard of Evans and Minnie M. Casto of St. Albans, and 8 grandchildren.  Also surviving is a brother, Eslie McCloud of Cottageville.  One sister, Della Newell, preceded him in death.  (Betty Kessel McIntyre obit collection)</p>
