McClain, 86, of Gay, died Thursday at the home of a daughter after a long illness.  She was a member of the Aplin United Methodist Church.  Surviving:  sons, Claude of Gay, Chester of Ripley, Ernest of Massillion, Ohio, Orin of Cottageville; daughters, Ivy Tolley of Cortland, Ohio, Dorothy Harpold of Gay, Bonnie DeWees of Ripley, Lorene Lupardus of Garrettsville, Ohio; stepdaugher, Eva Clark of Parkersburg; brothers, Robert Stalnaker of Staats Mills, Brooks Stalnaker of Dunbar; sisters, Edith Westfall of Harmony, Jerusha Scarberry of Ripley, Edna Lanham of Akron, Ohio, Elsie Higley of Bidwell, Ohio; 43 grandchildren; 66 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.  Service was Sunday in Aplin United Methodist Church.  Burial was in Aplin Cemetery.  Vail Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.</p>
