Information: Helen (Hogue) McClain, 73, of Ripley, passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2014, at Ravenswood Village Healthcare following a long illness.  She was born March 7, 1941 at Glenville, a daughter of the late Harlan and Louise Pratt Hogue.  She retired from the Jackson County Board of Education where she served as a secretary and an accountant.  She was a member of the Silverton United Methodist Church.      She is survived by her daughters, Deborah McClain, of Ravenswood and her daughter, Katie (Tyler) Dillon of Sandyville, Lisa Coppick of Ravenswood and her children, Christopher Coppick, Kevin Coppick, Bradley Coppick, and Sean Coppick, all of Gallipolis Ferry, Angela (Del) Hagley of Mineral Wells and their children, Erin Ables of Parkersburg and Angelica (Billy) Windstanley of Parkersburg; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Emmalynn and William Coppick, Marshall and Alexis Windstanley; brother, Don (Sue) Hogue of Pennsboro; sister, Patty (Jim) Shaver of Florida; brothers-in-law, Jerry (Sandy) McClain of Lubeck, Ferman Lee Rhodes of Glenville; and sister-in-law, Shirley (Fred) Sullivan of Parkersburg.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, H. Linn McClain; sister, Dorothy Rhodes; brother-in-law, Bud McClain; sister-in-law, Pat Frame and her husband Bill Frame; son-in-law, Jerry L. Coppick; nephew, Joe Frame; and niece, Robin Stalnaker.      Funeral service will be 11 am Tuesday, September 23, 2014, at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, with Pastor Ruth Sergent officiating.  Following the service the family will have a time of food and fellowship in the Parsons-Vail Family Center located inside the funeral home.  Funeral procession will leave for the Ravenswood Cemetery at 1 pm from the funeral home.  Friends may call from 5 to 7 pm Monday, September 22, 2014, at the funeral home.  If desired, donations in memory of Helen McClain may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, 6520 North Andrews Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33309-2130 or the Jackson County Library.  Memories and condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.waybrightfuneralhome.com.
