Information: FARMER FOUND DEAD AT HOME - Fred Wesley McCauley, 55-year-old resident of Sandyville, was found dead in bed at his home there Saturday morning. He had not been ill, and had planned to bale hay on his farm Saturday, neighbors said. He was employed as a bus driver by the Jackson County Board of Education. Born Aug. 1, 1907 in Jackson county, he was a son of the late William and Armanda Girt McCauley. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Goldia Angus McCauley; a son, Vivian McCauley, at home; five daughters, Mrs. Catherine Bonnett, Ravenswood, Mrs. Edna Wolfe, Mrs. Thelma Sheppard, Mrs. Dottie Morgan and Miss Betty McCauley, Sandyville; five grandchildren. Three brothers, Frank McCauley, Canton, O., John and William McCauley, Sandyville; two sisters, .............The funeral service was held at the Drift Run Church near Sandyville on Monday with Rev. William Eaton officiating and the burial was in the church cemetery. Mr. McCauley had lived at Sandyville for many years, but was well known throughout the county. Death came as a shock.
