  <p>Information: Hazel Bowman McCarty, 80, of Ravenswood died Monday at home of an apparent heart attack.  She was born at Hemlock, a daughter of the late Thadeus and Callie Bowman.  She was a Methodist.  Survivors:  daughters, Garnet Sands of Sherman, Gail Bever of Murraysville, Jacqueline Conger of Williamstown and Patsy Straight of Ravenswood; sister, Edith Bennett of Ravenswood; brother, Charles Bowman of Ravenswood; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis, in 1973; a son, Lewis, Jr., in 1976; and two grandchildren.  Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Straight-Tucker Funeral Home with the Rev. John Nesselroade officiating.  Interment will be at the Ravenswood Cemetery.</p>
