Information:      Funeral services for Martin Richard (Mart), 85, of Medina, were held Tuesday afternoon at the Vail Funeral Home.  Mr. McBride died Saturday evening at Care Inn in Ripley, following a lengthy illness.  He had been a patient at Jackson General Hospital several days prior to his death.  He was a native of Jackson, the son of the late Nathan F. and Effie Logston McBride.  He was a veteran of World War I and a retired farmer.  Survivors include his wife, Mary Jane Williams McBride, who is a columnist for the Jackson Herald; two daughters, Ms. Jo Raines of Sandyville and Mrs. Jean Wilkinson of Washington, W.Va.; six grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by a brother, Fred;  three sisters, Bertie Lincicome, Myrtle McPherson and Murhl Moore.  The Rev. Charles Eaton and the Rev. Paul Morrison officiated at the funeral service.  Burial was in Ravenswood Cemetery.  NOTE:  Mr. McBride was born July 27, 1895.
