Information:       MAYS FUNERAL HELD SATURDAY-Last funeral rites for Mrs. F.B. Mays, wife of Frank Mays of Kentuck, and the mother of Circuit Clerk Bryan Mays, was held at the Goshen Baptist Church last Saturday with a large crowd of relatives and friends in attendance to pay thier last respects to one who had spent her entire life in that community.  Mrs. Mays, who was 61 years of age, died on Wednesday as the result of a stroke of paralysis suffered the previous Saturday.  No hope had been enterained for her recovery following the time she was stricken.  The funeral services were conducted by the Rev. J.R. Withrow, pastor of the Ripley M.E. Church, South, and Rev. Vairl Winter.  Rev. Withrow delivered the oration.  The followng obituary was read:  Leva Skeen Mays, wife of F.B. Mays, was born April 3, 1874, a daughter of the late Franklin and Phoebe Garrett Skeen, died April 17, 1935, age 61 years and 14 days.  Professed her faith in Jesus and chose him as her Savior in the year 1914.  Joined the Goshen Baptist Church and has lived a faithful Christian until death.  She was a kind and loving companion and mother to her husband and children and leaves to mourn their loss besides her husband the following children; William Bryan Mays, Kentuck, Mrs. Essie Fields, Charleston, and Foster Mays, Kenna, and three grandchildren, also the following brothers and sisters, Robert E. Lee Skeen, Charleston, W.H. Skeen, Kentuck, Thomas Skeen, West Liberty, Ohio, Mrs. Elizabeth Presley, Vicars, Mrs. Martha Smith, Kenna, and Mrs. Park Casto, Ripley.  The following brothers preceded her in death; Rev. John Skeen, Peter Skeen, Pierce Skeen and Rader Skeen and two infant sisters.   She also leaves a host of relatives and family.  Burial was in the Goshen Cemetery.
