Information: W. Bryon Maxwell, 92, of Charleston, died Jan. 25, 2002, at Bethany Lutheran Village in Centerville, Ohio, after a short illness. He retired as a vice president from Columbia Gas. He was born in Cottageville and came to Charleston in the early 1930's. He was a graduate of Ravenswood High School. He was a member of Beni Kedem Shrine, Kanawha Lodge No. 20, American Petroleum Institute, and a lifelong member of St. Marks United Methodist Church, Charleston. He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Gladys E. Maxwell. He is survived by his daughter, Nancy Dolan of Centerville, Ohio; granddaughter, Dianne D. Keeler and her husband, Dan, of Centerville; grandson, Chris Dolan of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; great-grandchildren, Natalie Ciambrone and Anthony Ciambrone, both of Centerville, and Brian Dolan of Fort Lauderdale; nephew, Jim Hunter and his wife, Jeanne of Ripley; nieces, Bonnie Hamrick of Tanner, Ala., and Joyce Williams of Huntsville, Ala. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, 2002, at Barlow-Bonsall Funeral Home with the Rev. Judy Fisher officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior. Burial will follow at Fairplain Cemetery in Ripley. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kanawha Hospice Care, in memory of his beloved wife, 1143 Dunbar Ave., Dunbar, WV 25064. Barlow-Bonsall Funeral Home, Charleston, is in charge of arrangements.
