Information: Funeral services were conducted at the Franklin Funeral Home in Parkersburg on Monday with Evangelist Marion Stephens officiating for Charles C. Matheny, 80, Sandyville, Rt. 2, who died in the Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital Thursday evening following several months illness.  He was born at Lubeck, Wood County, Aug. 31, 1884, son of the late D. C. and Virginia Matheny and had lived in the Parkersburg area most of his life.  He moved to Lockhart about eight years ago.  He was a retired employee of the B. and O. Railroad and a member of the Lynn St. Church of Christ.  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lulu Burke Matheny; three stepsons, Wallace and Delmer Burke of Sandyville; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Robert LaRue, of Parkersburg, Mrs Russell Wilson, Coolville and Mrs. Evelyn Hardesty, Sandyville; two stepdaughters by a prior marriage, Mrs. Ethel Roush, Coolville and Violet Moslin, address unknown; four brothers, Clyde L. and Martin Matheny, Parkersburg, R. H. Matheny, Crescentown, Md., and W. T. Matheny, Keyser, W. Va.; two sisters, Ella C. Cochran, Vienna and Lillian D. Grant, Parkersburg.  His first wife, Rose and two sisters, preceded him in death.
