  <p>Information: Mrs. Phyllis ""Pompie"" Massaro, 79, of Josephine, Raleigh County died Saturday, Oct 18 at home after a long illness.  She was a member of Besoco Methodist Church and was a lifelong resident of Raleigh County.  Surviving:  sons, Virgil and Angelo, both of Josephine, Floyd of Ravenswood and Bill of Fort McCoy, Fla.; stepdaughters, Dolly Walker and Gloria Henderson, both of New Jersey; sisters, Jennie Carosi of Bluewell, Angeline Gilletto of Kissimmee, Fla., Pauline Johnson of Martinsville, Va., and Mary Moncada of Beckley; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.  Service was Tuesday at Williams-Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Sophia with the Rev. Sam Meadows officiating.  Burial was in Sunset Memorial Park, Beckley.</p>
