  <p>Information: Francis L. Martin Jr., 86, of Ripley, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2011, at Jackson General Hospital.  He was born September 21, 1925 at Huntington, a son of the late Frank and Opal Peters Martin.  He was a graduate of Dunbar High School and attended Marshall University.  He was a gunner on a B17 for the Army Air Corp. during World War II, a member of the VFW Post 5501 in Ripley and retired from B. F. Goodrich as Chemical Foreman.  He was a loving father and grandfather and is survived by daughters, Pat Crockett of Ripley, Lois Ann Bashore and Terri Lee Hamlet, both of Grand Prairie TX; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.  In honoring his wishes, he was cremated and there will be no service.  Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, is serving the family.</p>
