Information: Daniel Martin, a past president and former member of the Jackson County Court for 12 years and a board member and one of the founders of Jackson General Hospital died Tuesday after a long illness.  Martin, 77, of Ripley died in Jackson General Hospital.  He was a member of Joe's Run Church.  Surviving are sons, Charles and Delmar P., both of Ripley; daughter, Mrs. Hazel Williamson of Ravenswood; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.  Services will be held at 11 a.m. today in Vail Funeral Home in Ripley with the Rev. Holly Hoover officiating.  Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery in Roane County.
