Information: Boyd G. Martin was born at Liverpool, W. Va. on January 23, 1923, a son of Dan and Beulah Sheppard Martin, passed away on August 30, 1966.  He graduated from Ripley High School and attended Glenville State Teachers College.  He was a veteran of World War II and was affiliated with the AF & AM Masonic Lodge No. 16 of Ripley.  He was a member of Carpenters Local No. 1159 of Point Pleasant and was a member of the VFW.  Survivors include three brothers, Earl at home, Charles of Liverpool and Delmer of Ripley; one sister, Mrs. W. D. Williamson of Ravenswood; six nephews and two nieces and a host of friends.  The Rev. Lincoln Jones and Rev. Donald Hinzman officiated at funeral services with burial at the Mt. Zion Cemetery with Masonic rites.
