Information: Ralph Craig Marlowe, 69, of Route 2, Ravenswood, died May 17, 1988, at home of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, said a spokesman with the Ripley state police detachment. He was born at Exchange and was former owner of Marlowe Laurel Court Restaurant, Sutton. He was retired from the Chessie System. He was a life member of UPU, and was a member of the Scottish Rite, Masons, Shriners, and the Moose. He was an Army veteran of World War II and was a Baptist. Surviving: wife, Vora Frances Marlowe; sons, Craig Lee Marlowe of Sutton, Larry Joe Marlowe of Fairfax, Va.; daughter, Beteena Ann Milacci of Pittsburgh, Pa.; step-daughter, Peggy June Burnside of Davisville; brothers, Dr. William H. Marlowe of Prescott, Ariz., Lloyd Dennis Marlowe of Cottonwood, Ariz., Frank Marlowe, Jr. of Sutton; sister, Mary Jean Todaro of Los Angeles, Calif.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren. Service was Friday at Straight-Tucker Funeral Home, Ravenswood, with the Rev. James Cunningham officiating. Burial was in Ravenswood Cemetery with Masonic graveside rites.
