Information: Russell Porter Maple, 64, of Rt. 2, Ravenswood, died suddenly Monday evening at his residence.  He was born in Wilding, Jackson county, son of the late George and Lena Griffith Maple.  He attended the Wilding U. M. Church, was formerly employed by the B & O Railroad and was a retired farmer. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Nelson of Sandyville; a son, Robert Lee of Blanchester, O.; a sister, Mrs. Georgia Hall of Rt. 2, Ravenswood; two brothers, Rodney, of Sandyville and Charlie of Ravenswood, and four grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by a brother, John, and a sister, Bessie.  Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the United Methodist Church at Wilding with the Rev. Paul Morrison officiating.  Burial will be in the Wilding Cemetery.  Friends may call at Chambers Funeral Home, Ravenswood, today (Wednesday) from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m.
