Information: Charlie Maple, 74, 22 Wilson St., Ravenswood, died Sunday at his home.  He was born at Wilding, a son of the late George and Lena Griffith Maple and attended the Wilding United Methodist Church.  He retired in 1965 from the B & O Railroad after 47 years service.  He was a member of the VMWE Local 499 and is a 32nd degree Mason with Lodge 12, AF and AM, belongs to the Nemesis Shrine in Parkersburg.  Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Kathleen Carter Maple; one daughter, Mrs. Annabelle Kidder of Ravenswood; a sister, Mrs. Georgia Hall of Route 2; a brother, Rodney Maple, Sandyville; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  A sister, Bessie and two brothers, John and Russell preceded him in death.  Services were held Tuesday at Wilding United Methodist Church with the Rev. Paul Morrison and the Rev. Armour Sayre officiating.  Burial was in Wilding Cemetery.
