  <p>Information:   Verna Lee Mangus, 56 of Ripley, died Sunday at the Jackson General Hospital following a short illness.      She was born in Jackson County, Nov. 13, 1921, a daughter of the late Arch Parsons and Cora Gibson Parsons.      She is survived by two sons, Earl Casto of Kenna, and James Paul Casto of Kentuck; two daughters, Mrs. Virginia Ann Fisher and Mrs. Janet Casto of Staats Mill; four brothers, Richard Parsons and Roscoe Parsons of Kenna, Cleo Parsons of Harmony, and Winfred Parsons of Charleston; five sisters, Erma Casto of Kentuck, Mrs. Wavie Shields and Mrs. Ollie Harris of Ripley, Mrs. Vada Smith and Mrs. Esta Parsons of Charleson; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.      Services will be held at 1 p.m. today (Wednesday) at the Parsons Funeral Home chapel.  The Rev. Buck Burdette will officiate.  Burial will be in the Fairplain Cemetery.          </p>
