Information: Ora Lee Mancil, 95, of Hampton, Virginia, formerly of Liverpool WV, passed away December 18, 2014 at Ravenswood Care Center following a long illness. She was born January 4, 1919 at Liverpool, a daughter of the late Artie and Loretta Powers Sarver. She was a homemaker and worked at Stone and Thomas Department Store. She loved gardening and growing roses. She was a Presbyterian and a member of the Community Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl L. Mancil; son, David M. Mancil; and brothers, Homer Sarver and Kenneth Sarver. She is survived by a brother, Freddie Lelan Sarver of Ripley; two grandsons, Michael D. Mancil of Manassas, Virginia and Kevin Lee Mancil of Hampton, Virginia; great-grandchildren, Emma Mancil, Robert Mancil, Andrew Mancil, Alex Mancil and Dillan Mancil; nephews, Jerry Sarver of Ripley and Kenny Sarver of Ravenswood; great-nephews and nieces, Andrew, Kaitlyn, and Kindra Sarver and Ashley Kreider and Dustin Sarver. Funeral service will be 11 am Friday, December 26, 2014, at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, with Pastor Rick Perrine officiating. Friends may call from 10 am until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home. Committal service and entombment will be 2 pm Saturday, December 27, 2014 in the Parklawn Memorial Cemetery Mausoleum, Hampton VA with Pastor Robert G. White officiating.
