  <p>Information: Harry Mahan passed away at his home near Cottageville Friday morning at three o&#39;clock after an illness of a weeks duration with pneumonia, following an attack of influenza.  Mr. Mahan was about 38 years of age and one of the most respected young men of the county.  His wife, who previous to her marriage was Miss Amanda Gilpin, died about seven years ago.  The deceased is survived by a daughter, Miss Sylvia, aged 17 years, and his father, Henry W. Mahan, one sister, Mrs. Marsh Pringle of Cottageville, and one brother, John of New York City.  The funeral services were conducted by the I.O.O.F. Lodge and interment made in the Cottageville cemetery Sunday at 10 a.m.</p>
