  <p>Information: Collene Ruth Mahan, 62, of Sandyville, passed away November 27, 2014 at Jackson General Hospital following a short illness.  She was born May 29, 1952 in Kanawha County, daughter of the late Marcella Brumfield.  She was an X-Ray Technician and was formerly employed with St. Francis Health Care.  Collene was a loving mother and grandmother and always put her family first.  She will be missed by many.  In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, William D. Mahan, Jr. and a daughter, Melanie Mahan.  She is survived by daughters, Brittany Mahan of Ravenswood and Tiffany Mahan of Silverton; her grandchildren, Royce Mahan, Evan Mahan, Kaelyn Taylor, Ameilya Clark and Maynard Johnson.  Funeral service will be 11:00 am Thursday, December 4, 2014, at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley.  Burial will follow in the Sunset Memorial Park, South Charleston.  Friends may call on the family from 9 am until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home.  Memories and condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.waybrightfuneralhome.com.</p>
