  <p>Information: PARKERSBURG - Allen Mahan, 38, of Parkersburg, formerly of Ravenswood, departed this life August 8, 1997 at his home following a brief illness.  He was born January 25, 1959 at Ravenswood, a son of Lucille Vaun ""Wilson"" Mahan of Parkersburg and the late Russell Daniel Mahan.  He was a former employee of Carl Smith, Inc., Sandyville, WV and he was a protestant.  Other survivors include a daughter, Alisha Small of Parkersburg; brothers, David Mahan and William Mahan of Ravenswood, Robert Mahan and Timothy Mahan of Parkersburg, Daniel Mahan of Lubeck and Scott Mahan of Sterling VA; sisters, Mary Hall, Sharon Williams, Pat Reed and Joan Jones, all of Ravenswood and Rita Rhodes of Lubeck.  Services were held Monday, August 11, 1997 at 11:00 am at Casto Funeral Home, Ravenswood WV with the Rev. Allen Stewart and Rob Ely officiating.  Burial was in the Flatwoods Cemetery near Ravenswood.</p>
