  <p>Information: Sunday, July 17th--Rained some today.  Okey Maddox died this morning about 5 o&#39;clock.  Age over 22 years, son of Rev. William Maddox.  Monday, July 18th--Clear part of day rained some. I attended the funeral services of Okey Maddox at the Baptist Church this morning on Grass Lick.  He was interred by the J. W. A. M.              Note:  The record of this death is from the Clinton A. Wolfe Journal.  Clinton lived on Wolfe Creek, near Given, and recorded weather and events of the area.  Most of the deaths are not on record at the courthouse.  This one is recorded and shows his parents as W, H. and M. C. Maddox.</p>
