Obituary Date: 1911-03-17

Information: Mrs. Flora Maddox, widow of the late James G. Maddox, died Friday morning at 9:30 o'clock at the home of her son, A. T. Maddox, near Kenna, at the age of 82,  Mrs. Maddox had been an invalid for the past five years and death was not unexpected.  Deceased is survived by four sons, Rev. W. H. Maddox of Winfield, L. and I. T. Maddox of Ripley and A. T. Maddox, with whom she made her home.  Funeral services were held at the Pleasant Valley Church. Rev. T. O. Powers assisted by Rev. J. S. Rhodes of the Baptist Church officiated.  The remains were interred in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery.  (McIntyre)
