Information: Funeral services were conducted Thursday at the Silverton EUB Church for French Lynch, who died Monday in a Spencer hospital following an extended illness.  The Rev. John C. Foster, Jr, officiated with burial in the Ravenswood Cemetery.  Born at Rocksdale, Calhoun County, a son of the late William and Phoebe Mace Lynch, he lived in Ravenswood for 37 years and had moved to Spencer one week ago.  Mr. Lynch was a veteran of World War I and had served in Germany with the Rainbow Division.  He was a retired farmer.  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Laura Wells Lynch; two daughters, Mrs. Calvin Latsetter, Williamstown, Mrs. Glen Hupp, Spencer; one brother, Frank Lynch, Rocksdale; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by five sisters and two children.  Sinnett Funeral Home, Spencer had charge of arrangements.
